.
Hi, let me
introduce myself. Muki Bear is the name, the bear that travels..
Actually Muki Bear is my surname. You can give me whatever first name
you want, whatever gender you want, whatever you prefer. MY first name
is Juliette. Juliette Muki Bear.
The tribe of Muki Bears, the bears that travel, are hand made in England with wool tweed from Yorkshire. The rucksack I have is made of green cotton canvas, with leather buckled straps and also made in England.
The most important thing, is that I am made for travelling. I have my own rucksack so I am ready for off at any time. It doesn't matter where you take me, I am equally happy at the top of Mount Everest or by the banks of the river Thames. I am not made for sitting on a shelf gathering dust to be passed from one generation to another looking brand new and unused, I AM made for being taken on travels wherever the owner takes me. Sat on a bicycle or in a wheelchair, on a bus going to London or a cable car going up to Mont Blanc, walking the Lairig Ghru, by the river Calder or climbing up to Pangboche, upload your story and pictures and share with everyone else who has a Muki Bear or even those without a Muki Bear.
A strong little bear, I am made for adults and children alike and am looking forward to being your travel companion, wherever your life and travels take you. The stories we can make together will be worth much more than a fluffy stuffed teddy bear left on a shelf somewhere.
The idea is that you can send pictures and stories from your travels
and we will put them on this website and also put the location on the
interactive map. You can also upload your interesting pictures via Instagram
and twitter. If you want to write a story or a poem about the bear, then
send us that too.
You could make a lovely photograph album
with pictures of all the adventures you have with Muki Bear and for
children especially, it would be a lovely pictorial record of their life
experiences.
Walking/trekking/mountaineering/cycling/running groups/friends or families could buy a bear and share it with each other so the bear could go further still. So ... you could share the bear!
Ooooh I am so looking forward to this.
